ABOUT NATALIE

Natalie is a Sussex-based mixed-media artist and designer. Inspired by naturalist illustration and contemporary expressionist painting, her work follows botanical and ornithological themes, blending detailed observation with expressive pattern and texture.

After studying illustration at Brighton University, Natalie worked as a brand designer for a Brighton interior design studio then moved to Melbourne and worked as a graphic designer in a variety of studios. In contrast to city life, travels in New Zealand included homestay gardening projects and self-sufficient rural life in the sub-tropics.

Natalie now works out of her quiet garden studio on the outskirts of Brighton, UK, dividing her time between self-initiated artwork, design projects, and gardening.
